To turning twenteen yet remaining ten at heart
I know this is late but I’ve been so busy with so many things that I forgot to have my obligatory “coming of age again” post. As much as I would want to not grow old just yet, (because I learned in the Ph101 plenary of Dr. Angeles that not growing old at all is just boring and lonely,) sometimes you just need to accept the fact it’s time for a change. A new year means a whole new array of possibilities to try. Maybe it’s time to stop being all fatalistic and dwelling too much on the past. It’s time to let go of the excess baggage and to move forward in the hopes of something better.
This does not however imply that I will completely forget everything in the past. I will still appreciate and accept the better parts of it in the hopes that I will creatively repeat it somehow as I move through this year. So even if I may not be the same little girl that I once was, I know that a part of me will still be there.
So there. I guess I just want to say bring it on, twenteen. I (think) I am finally ready for you.

Self-reblogging shame because I have nothing else to post and I have to run off and study for my longtest again in a bit so yeah.
